About the EFL Championship

The EFL Championship is the second tier of English football, contested by 24 clubs across a brutal 46-match season. The top two go up automatically to the Premier League; the next four contest play-offs for the third promotion spot — by some measures the most lucrative match in football, with the winner gaining an estimated £170m in TV revenue.

Livescore44 covers every Championship matchday with live scores, lineups, in-game stats, AI predictions and broadcaster info. Tap any team for their full fixture list, recent results and squad — the league turns over so quickly that yesterday's title contender is today's mid-table puzzle.

For a full cross-league view, head back to the homepage or browse the full fixtures list.
