Where to watch the Premier League in Tanzania

SuperSport shows the Premier League in Tanzania, on DStv. The cheapest package with the dedicated SuperSport Premier League channel is DStv Compact at TSh 68,000 a month; DStv Poa at TSh 11,500 carries selected matches.

Prices read off the broadcasters' own Tanzania sites on 17 October 2026. Prices and rights change by season, so check with the broadcaster before you pay.

Packages that carry the Premier League

Monthly prices in Tanzanian shillings, as DStv Tanzania lists them.

Channels: SuperSport Premier League, with some matches on SuperSport Football.

GOtv’s Tanzania site was not available when we checked, and Tanzania is missing from GOtv’s country list, so GOtv is not listed here.

Azam TV carries the NBC Premier League and La Liga in Tanzania, not the English Premier League.

Showmax closed as a standalone service on 30 April 2026, so it is no longer an option.

Premier League kick-off times in Tanzania (EAT)

Tanzania is on EAT (UTC+3) all year. From 25 October 2026, when Europe's clocks go back, the usual slots are:

From the last Sunday in March, when Europe moves to summer time, each kick-off is one hour earlier in Tanzania. Every match page on Livescore44 shows the kick-off in your own time, and today's matches in Tanzania are listed in Dar es Salaam time.

Watching on a phone, and saving data

The DStv app (DStv Stream) comes at no extra cost with a DStv package, and shows what your package carries. MyDStv is for paying and managing your account, not for watching.

Streaming a full match uses far more data than following the score. Watch on Wi-Fi when you can, set the app to a lower video quality in its settings, and download nothing over mobile data that you can get on Wi-Fi later. When data is short, follow the score instead on Livescore44 Lite, a text-only page that loads on very little data.
